Three Miller-Valentine Group Project Managers were recognized at the Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contractors (OVABC) Excellence In Construction Gala as Leadership Forum Graduates. Faith Sichman, Josh Yeary, and John McCafferty completed the intensive nine month training course designed for future leaders in the construction industry. The course, available every two years, covers a variety of industry related challenges including strategic planning, accounting and finance, business development, safety, legal issues, and ethics. Each of these Project Managers has been an Associate of Miller-Valentine Group for over ten years.
In addition to the Leadership Forum recognitions, Miller-Valentine Group was awarded the Ohio Valley ABC 40 year award for forty years of continuous service and support of merit shop contracting.
And, once again, Miller-Valentine Group was recognized for receiving and maintaining OHSA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) “star designation”, OSHA’s highest honor for contractors with superior safety programs. Miller-Valentine was the first contractor in state of Ohio to receive OSHA VPP state-wide certification.
“We are honored to be recognized for these achievements”, said Chris Knueven, President, Miller-Valentine Construction. “We value the leadership training that we receive through the ABC and this collaboration has helped us to be a leader in our industry and community for over 40 years.”
