The 9th Annual River Summit “Promoting the Great Miami River Corridor”, will be held on March 18, 2016 at the University of Dayton River Campus, from 8:00am – 3:00pm.
The Summit is hosted by The Rivers Institute at the University of Dayton, Ohio’s Great Corridor Association (OGCA), and the Miami Conservancy District. The goal is to help communities realize the untapped potential our River Corridors have for this region, both economically and socially.
Dave Williams, Miller-Valentine Group Vice President, Urban Development, will be part of the panel discussion on Economic Development Along Our Rivers. Dave will be addressing the renewed interest in the role the river plays in our community and possible development opportunities.
Dave will be joined on the panel by other community leaders including representatives from the city of Dayton, Troy, and Hamilton.
The keynote speaker will be from Project for Public Spaces (PPS), an organization dedicated to helping people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities. The schedule for the event includes a panel of local Mayors, updates on the marketing and branding initiatives for the corridor, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.
