One Lincoln Park Renovation set to begin

October 1, 2015 / By Chris Knueven, President

Miller-Valentine Group is pleased to announce a $400,000 renovation of One Lincoln Park, Dayton’s Premier Retirement Community, located at 590 Isaac Prugh Way.  The renovation will include a complete redesign of the first-floor dining and common areas.

One Lincoln Park’s Grille will become a Bistro; an area where sandwiches, salads, soups, ice cream and other snack items can be purchased for eating in or taking out. The Main Dining and Private Dining Rooms will be upgraded with new wallpaper, carpet, lighting, window treatments and chairs. The newly remodeled Main Dining Room will also have a fireplace.  The Gift Shop will be converted to a walk-up bar with lockers for wine storage.  New furnishings in the East Lounge will provide an elegant and cozy gathering area for our residents, family members, and guests.  The Library will be downsized in order to make space for an Apothecary where over-the-counter health and wellness items will be available for sale.

Ana Paner-Johnson, Executive Director of One Lincoln Park said “We are excited to be able to provide our residents with additional dining options, more opportunities for socialization, and greater convenience as we enhance these areas.  We look forward to the completion of this renovation project before the end of the year!”

This renovation is being done by Miller-Valentine’s Commercial Construction Group.  Completion is anticipated by the end of December 2015.  For more information, please contact One Lincoln Park at 937-298-0594 or visit the website at LincolnParkSeniors.com.
