Miller-Valentine Group announced today, in conjunction with its partner organizations, the groundbreaking of its latest affordable housing development: Roosevelt Homes. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Congressman Mike Turner attending.

Located just north of West Third Street, Roosevelt Homes will consist of 43 single-family lease-to-purchase homes for low to moderate income individuals and families. It’s another step in Dayton’s neighborhood revitalization program, where Miller-Valentine Group and St. Mary Development Corporation are playing a crucial role in continuing the positive momentum in the neighborhood.
Dave Liette, President of Miller-Valentine Multifamily Development said that the company is very excited to have the opportunity to invest in the continued redevelopment of the area. Liette explained, “Roosevelt Homes will be more than a great addition to the Miller-Valentine Group properties in Dayton; it is the opportunity to elevate the quality of life and peace of mind of every resident we serve in the years to come. We are greatly honored to touch the lives of families in the Dayton area.”
