Kurt Eyring, vice president and partner with Miller-Valentine Group, has been named chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas, Columbia Council.
ABC of the Carolinas is a premiere construction organization, with 23,500 member firms nationally, established to promote and improve the image of construction and address issues facing the industry. The Columbia Council is one of eight committees established to support the goals and efforts of ABC in the Carolinas region. Most recently, the Columbia Council was recognized by ABC of the Carolinas for their Achievement in Membership-Retention and Achievement in Membership-Growth.
“The role of the chairman is important to leading the council in the betterment of our industry,” said Doug Carlson, president of ABC. “Mr. Eyring’s leadership and commitment to the industry exemplifies the principals which ABC stands for. The efforts and commitment of the entire council is recognized by their growth in membership.”
Eyring brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been involved in a broad scale of commercial and industrial projects.
