June 28, 2012 / By Kurt Eyring, Vice President

Miller-Valentine Group has been awarded two regional contracts with longstanding customer, Iron Mountain, one of the world’s premier information management service providers. Miller-Valentine will be the general contractor for Iron Mountain’s facilities located throughout the Mid-South and Ohio Valley regions; handling all capital improvement projects for facilities located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, eastern Georgia, northern Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.

Iron Mountain, with its dozens of facilities throughout the Southeast and Midwest, will utilize Miller-Valentine’s services to manage all non-maintenance related work from minor renovations to full scale new construction.

“The regional construction contracts awarded by Iron Mountain are a perfect example of Miller-Valentine’s dedication to understanding our clients’ operations. This understanding allows us to match our ownership experience, property management experience, and construction capabilities to the long term real estate needs of growing companies in today’s competitive environment,” said, Jon Brockman, senior project manager of Miller-Valentine Group.

Miller-Valentine began work this month at two of Iron Mountain’s Richmond, VA facilities, and one of Iron Mountain’s Charlotte, NC facilities. Miller-Valentine Group and Iron Mountain began their relationship more than 17 years ago and have partnered in over 30 projects to date, throughout the Southeast and Midwest.
