Miller-Valentine Group, recently completed a building expansion of the Veterans Benefits Administration Regional Office near the Dorn VA Medical Center. The three story building addition to the now 155,000 SF facility was completed months ahead of schedule.
The expansion to the VBA Regional Office Building included additional office space, a state of the art call center, visitor parking, and other site improvements. Miller-Valentine worked alongside the VBA’s personnel throughout the entire construction duration and completed the project with no disruption to the VBA’s ongoing operation.
“We enjoyed working with the VA and Keenan Development on another successful project. As the project team managed the already aggressive schedule it became clear that we could deliver the project by Veteran’s Day, a fitting delivery date for a facility that will provide service back to our veterans,” said Jon Brockman, senior project manager with Miller-Valentine.
The Columbia VBA Regional Office administers non-medical benefits to the over 420,000 veterans and their dependants living in South Carolina. “This expansion will allow the VBA to better assist these well deserving families in our communities,” said Kurt Eyring, vice president with Miller-Valentine.
