Air Service: Ft.
Wayne International Airport is one of only
a few airports in the Midwest with a 12,000-foot
runway. The airport, served by a number of carriers,
provides
non-stop jet and commercial service to several
U.S. cities. Ft. Wayne's Smith Field is north
of the city and provides non-commercial service.
Major highways: Interstate 69; Interstate 469, US 30, 33, 27, and
24 converge in Allen County. Interstate 80 is located
45 miles north of Ft. Wayne via Interstate 69.
